Let’s make a short story long!

Since I can remember, I wanted to be part of the medical field. When I graduated from high school, I got my first job as a Certified Nursing Assistant. While I loved being able to help people, I didn’t think nursing was really for me and instead chose to pursue a doctorate degree as a Physician Assistant.
I attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah for a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Therapy. I realized I loved the therapy and rehab aspects of my course of study, but since it was just a pre-med degree, it was functionally useless outside of college.
Shortly after graduation and several rejected PA school applications, I married my high school sweetheart. He was always supportive of my schooling and decisions, but had lofty aspirations for his education, too. I gladly set aside my dreams of becoming a PA in favor of his dreams to become a chiropractor and chose to continue my education in massage therapy to supplement his future practice.
After massage school, I was able to find a position at a company that specialized in the exact massage technique I was hoping to specialize in! Since then, I have been refining my techniques through two different states, and hundreds of patients. Now, we are happily settled in Eagle Mountain with an adorable little girl, sweet little dog and way too many house plants.
My style of massage therapy focuses on a soft tissue of the body called fascia. To learn more about fascia and how it affects our bodies, please visit my blog.
I love massage therapy, and I love being able to make a difference in so many people’s lives. Let me help you achieve your goals of being pain free!
